A Service to Celebrate the Life of Hollie Halabi will be held in the Heidelberg Golf Club, 8 Main Road Lower Plenty on Wednesday August 5, 2026 commencing at 11am.

It’s been 27 years since we all lived together as kids, I feel your families loss and I’m so sorry you have left your family and friends way to early.

You were an endless amount of happiness and energy, between my brother Ben, Jake, Harley, Zoe and myself back on maltravers road you shined the brightest while our mothers tried to keep our mischief contained best they could.

It is something I will always remember and cherish as young kid.

These are memories as a child I will never forget.

I miss you

I miss wondering what you were up to, because you always had that mischievous streak that made people smile. I miss the noises from next door. I miss hearing your girls laughing, the music playing, and those everyday moments that seemed so ordinary at the time but now mean everything.

Your four children were your world. They were your heart, especially your two little princesses. It was always clear how deeply you loved your kids.

Thank you for trusting me.

Thank you for letting your children come into my home when you just needed a moment to breathe, regroup, or simply have a little time to yourself. Thank you for trusting me to collect your deliveries from downstairs, knowing they’d be safe until you got home.

And thank you for trusting me that night.

That trust is something I will carry with me forever.

I wish we’d had more coffee afternoons together than we did. Our afternoon was never enough. I’ll always cherish the time we shared, because it gave me the chance to know the beautiful person behind the apartment next door. Those coffees, those conversations, and those simple moments will stay with me forever.

I don’t like leaving my home because I know you’re no longer next door.

I don’t like coming home because I know I won’t see your beautiful smile, your latest outfit, or hear your voice through the walls.

Life wasn’t easy for you. It can be unfair, cruel, and full of challenges that most people never see. But through it all, you kept showing up.You did the very best you could with the life you had.

And Hollie… you were beautiful.

Not just on the outside, although you could have walked onto the stage of any beauty pageant and stolen the crown without even trying. You had a spark, a warmth, a presence that people noticed. You had a smile that could light up a room and a personality that couldn’t be ignored.

I hope you’ve finally found the peace that was so hard to find here.

Watch over your four beautiful children. Watch over your mum and your brother. And if you don’t mind… watch over me too.

Such a beautiful girl. We loved you the moment we saw you. Caity had fond young memories of blue light disco diamond Creek outings. Caity said…so exciting.
